Recently my wife and I decided it was time to purchase a new mattress for our home.  After searching for quite some time for just the right item, we decided to purchase local from one of Manatee County’s business and found what we were looking for a the Pittsburgh Mattress Factory in Ellenton.

The owner, Lu Ann Feldmeier-Schecht, was gracious, patient and attentive to what we felt was right for us.  We discovered they custom make their own mattresses at that location and they will even go to your home to flip a mattress purchased from their factory.

You cannot get that type pf service from the Internet, and I would be surprised if they had an equal in our area of Florida.  We made our purchase from the Pittsburgh Mattress Factory and have never been more satisfied with the helpful attitude or the quality of service provided by them.  It is readily apparent that LuAnn is not satisfied with a sale until the customer feels the same.

It is business such as hers that we should support to allow them to continue serving our county as an employer and as a valuable business resource for our community.

Just a note to let you know that WE LOVE OUR NEW BED!!!  My husband Lee has not had to have another nerve root block shot in his back because his legs are elevated at night.  I sleep better too!  It has been terrific!!  The service at the store and the installers were knowledgeable and professional.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the way you conduct your business.  There are four things I look for when I shop and in my mind you have excelled in all four.

Courtesy.  When we visited your factory to see what you were all about, we were conducted through in a very informative tour.  You were at all times attentive to us and answered our questions in a way that let us know that you knew what you were taking about.  When we came back to buy, there was no pressure and you went to considerable effort to make sure we were getting what we wanted.  The men delivered it when you said they would and they were also courteous.

Quality.  We spent considerable time looking at mattresses and in our opinion we bought the best quality when we bought your product.  After sleeping on it for over a year now we still think so.

Service.  I think of several things.  Your prompt and courteous delivery.  We talked about handles on the mattress and you put them on for us. The recent experience when I bought from you a mattress that was too fat for the murphy bed we purchased, you promptly took care of that crisis in time to let our company sleep.  There is no other place that we could find the service you have provided.  At any price!

Price.  Speaking of price, it is a relative thing.  For less money I can buy less of a mattress.  However, considering all the above, I have indeed found a bargain in your product.

Let me add, that we would never look anywhere else for a mattress and we have encouraged our friends to buy from you also.  It has indeed been a pleasure to do business with you and I do not find that to be true in many purchases today.

I want to share my experience of the life changing impact a foam latex mattress has created for two years.  I have seldom had a good night’s sleep.  I have tried herbs, exercise and finally arthritic medication but with minimal results.  I had begun to see myself as a person who had begun a decline into chronic pain and insomnia.

I purchased the foam latex mattress about a month ago and the results are in.!  I am sleeping more deeply, pain has reduced by at least 75% and I have no need for muscle relaxants and arthritis medications are cut in half

Gentlemen,

Approximately 2 years ago we purchased a king size latex mattress from your store.  After being shown many mattresses you had, we decided to purchase the latex mattress.  My husband is 250 lbs so we knew we needed a good mattress.

Dear Luann,

It was through the recommendation of my aunt and uncle, Doris and Eugene St. Charles that John and I purchased our mattress and box spring form you on July 4, 2004.

Recently, I was admitted to Blake Memorial and after one night on a bed at the hospital, I realized what “nothing like my own bed” came to mean.  Although I only had an overnight stay, it was the most uncomfortable  night’s sleep I have had in a very long time.

I just want to thank you and your company for the great job you are doing in the construction of a perfect mattress.  John and I are  very pleased with ours and I welcomed it again into my room after my stay at Blake.
